Irish Free Software Organisation is assisting the public consultation process for the drafting of GPLv3.
IFSO's main actions on GPLv3 have been to publish transcripts of key presentations, and to provide a forum and some informed discussion on the topic. For information on the timeline, how to participate, and links to information, see FSFE's GPLv3 project.
Members of IFSO is actively involved in the public consultation process, and so expertise are at hand if needed.
The best place for discussion GPLv3 is the public mailing list (fsfe-ie). Alternatively, the committee can be contacted privately.
IFSO also tries to raise discussion of GPLv3 at free software events. If you're organising an event and would like to add a GPLv3 discussion to the agenda, contact IFSO in the above ways and hopefully we'll be able to help.
